I think WEB COMICS are COOL

Here are ones I especially like and that have a look that is more "comic" story then just a "cartoon".

ENJOY!

OUTLAND

HOW could I have forgotten this one? It's a oldie but a goodie and is a adaptation of a popular movie by that same name.

Warning: This would be rated R...it does have nudity, coarse language and violence, so you might not want to read it at work.

OUTLAND is a murder mystery in space, but has no spandex hero's.
The downside is that the link is old so you don't have the nifty page turning we have now...but its worth the extra clicks. It a complete story, so that is always nice.

RATFIST

RATFIST is a webcomic made by Doug Tennapal  who has several graphic novels already published.
It's light hearted and fun. It actually has a set ending and Doug plans to start another different story in September. The main character is a hero dressed as a rat who has a rat for a companion.

Try it...it's addictive.

JOHNNY SATURN

Johnny Saturn is a superhero webcomic and pretty descent too.
The website is easy to navigate. The art is great. The story is good.
It has a feel of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Batman.
Johnny Saturn doesn't have any superpowers and saves the day with his Brains and Brawn, but he has gotten older and doesn't have the finances that Bruce Wayne does.

But this story starts at his funeral where a Superman like superhero retells his part in Johnny Saturn's life and death.

 TRANSFORMERS MOSAIC Yea Four
TRANSFORMERS MOSAIC Year Five  - Which is this year and a issue comes out about once a week.

FLYING SPARKS

Looking for a light superhero Web comic try FLYING SPARKS...
It has a pretty good story. The writer has established a great characterization for the characters and the comic universe is developing nicely. By the end of the second issue, there's a little mystery going on and you start wanting more.

The Horror of COLONY 6

This one is a little lacking on story but has great art.
With the word Horror in the subject it should give you a hint to how gory. You have lots of intestines...and other organs... LOTS of blood...and screaming. It reminds me a lot of a B horror flick that you would see late at night.   So far ...there isn't any nudity, or language that is bad enough for me to notice, just have a puke bucket ready for the graphic gore.

NOVA619

 The fantastic fanfiction of Nova619.

The script and art are done by various people.
This is Marvel's Nova on a different time line.  Marvel had killed off the character, but some fans couldn't let him pass and created their own world were he lives on to save the universe.

Check it out  NOVA619 (<link)

It's part of the Novaprimepage group and also sponsored by the CosmicBookNews.
